The Real Deal found broker and luxury condo specialist Arno de Vos at the booth for The Residences at 1428 Brickell, the city’s most exclusive new residential tower from leading developer Ytech. De Vos explained how Ytech CEO and founder Yamal Yidios toured luxury condominiums around the world for inspiration and brought only the best elements back to Miami, integrating them at 1428 Brickell to create a unique building that represents South Florida’s international character while exuding luxury from every angle. “The Residences at 1428 Brickell is really a best-of collection of the world’s top buildings,” said de Vos. “Ytech put this building together as the great assembler, and it’s a really unique product.”
De Vos hailed the building for delivering “many different innovative elements that have never been done in the Miami market,” including 80,000 square feet of bespoke residential amenities that function as extensions of each home as well as ecologically-conscious design elements that include a solar backbone integrated into the tower’s operation, making it the world’s first residential high rise powered by the sun.
Milan-based Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel, architect and designer of the project, took a collaborative approach that showcases the top-to-bottom care given to each material and design element, resulting in a building that is understated, elegant, and exclusive, featuring just 189 homes in the heart of Miami.
In an industry replete with buildings claiming to be the latest and best, de Vos has seen 1428 Brickell turn the heads of even the most discerning buyers and jaded brokers. “It’s attracting the crowd that can buy anywhere in the city,” said de Vos. “And every single broker that we’ve introduced this to has pulled my sales team aside and told me, ‘this is something unlike what they have ever seen in the city of Miami.’”
