Condo boards becoming stricter 

Manhattan’s condo boards, mostly those in older buildings, are becoming stricter, real estate professionals have noticed. New York City’s condos boards have long been viewed as a lenient alternative to the city’s notoriously fussy co-op boards, but condo buyers have recently reported boards presenting them with 24-page lists of instructions and intrusively examining their finances.
