West Village site sells for $33.5M

A development site at 140 Sixth Avenue, near the Spring Street subway stop, has sold for $33.5 million,
according to city records posted today. Integrated Capital, a real
estate private equity group that focuses on hotels, was the buyer. An
eight-story mixed-use tower
had been designed by Anthony Morali of M Studio for the site of an old
gas station. Sellers listed on the deed included Queens developer
Mattone, a family trust in the name of the late developer James J.
Mannix, who died in 1988, as well as his widow Bernadette. The 11,470
square foot lot is zoned for a maximum buildable area of 57,350 square
feet. TRD
