A company affiliated with Zar Brothers Realty bought two adjacent Soho commercial properties for $49 million, according to city property records.

The sale closed on the same day it went into contract, May 20.

Both the 47,000-square-foot, five-story building at 42 Greene Street and the 37,000-square-foot, five-story building at 90 Grand Street, are more than a century old and are located in the Soho Historic District.
