Texas oilman buys at Time Warner Center for $12M

The head of a Texas oil and gas refining and marketing company bought a condo at the Time Warner Center for $12.7 million. Paul L. Foster, president and CEO of El Paso-based Western Refining, bought the 2,632-square-foot unit through Franklin Mountain Columbus, LLC, according to city records published yesterday. Foster transformed Western Refining into one of the country’ biggest publicly-traded independent oil refineries. Texas Tech’s four-year medical school in El Paso was named after Foster after he donated $50 million to it. The condo’s sellers were Matthew and Julie Richardson. TRD
