Preservation expert discusses work on NYC schools, City Hall

The Real Deal‘s Sara Polsky sat down with Chris Gray, director of
preservation for GBG and Southern California chair of the Royal
Institution of Chartered Surveyors Americas. UK-based GBG collects data for use
in renovation and construction projects, and the company has done work
at the Guggenheim and the Chrysler Building. Gray talked about the
company’s work on New York City schools and a potential project at
City Hall. He also discussed the differences between British and
American philosophies of green building and preservation. Click below
