A 102-year-old mansion in Harriman, N.Y. has hit the market, according to commercial real estate services firm Colliers International, which is marketing the 450-acre estate. The 100,000-square-foot mansion, known as Arden House, has no official asking price, and a spokesperson for Colliers said that the firm was accepting bids from interested buyers. The property, which includes 97 guest rooms and an auditorium, would be best-suited for “non-profit users — including universities, think tanks and medical centers,” a Colliers statement said. Arden House, which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1966, is currently owned by preservation advocacy group the Open Space Institute. TRD
