Developers shutter Soho nightlife fixture

Don Hill’s the popular Soho nightclub that reopened in September under the direction of Kenmare owners Nur Khan and Paul Sevigny, has shuttered for good after the unexpected death of its namesake and will now be turned over to developers. Khan told the Post that “the property offered a moneymaking opportunity unconcerned with preserving Don’s legacy,” The one-story property that houses the club is owned by Tribeca’s Ponte Equities, public records show, though it’s unclear what development plans are in the works for the 511 Greenwich Street spot. Just this past weekend, Don Hill’s had hosted a Tribeca Film Festival after party for “Jesus Henry Christ” that had drawn Julia Roberts and Daniel Moder, but by Monday, the club had had its final last call. “I will be sad to see the doors close as it was such a passion project for me,” Khan said.
