Ad agency to consolidate offices in increasingly trendy Hudson Square

Advertising agency Havas Design+ will consolidate several New York City locations to one office in the thriving Hudson Square neighborhood, the New York Times reported.

The firm will likely ink a lease for 170,000 square feet at Trinity Real Estate’s 200 Hudson Street, between Vestry and Grand streets, in the coming months, according to the Times.

The Hudson Square area — north of Tribeca, west of Soho and south of the West Village — is currently enjoying its lowest vacancy level in history, and asking rents are steadily climbing. An ongoing effort to rezone the area for more residential development is finally gaining steam, which could solidify the area’s transition to a 24-hour neighborhood. [NYT]
