Firm signs for three floors at 280 Park Avenue

Investment portfolio manager Cohen & Steers has re-upped their lease at 280 Park Avenue, the New York Observer reported. Rents in the deal, which totaled 87,00 square feet, were over $100 per square foot, sources said.

The firm has signed for three floors for ten years, the Observer said.

In 2011, Manhattan mega firms SL Green Realty Corp and Vornado Realty Trust partnered to assume the $400 million debt for the 31-story tower. Broadway and Investcorp bought the building for $1.2 billion in 2007, one of the larger building trades ever.

Both landlord and tenant were represented in-house, the Observer said.
