Red Hook warehouse to undergo rental conversion

The building, which was slated to be developed during the boom years, before litigation by local residents held it up, has received a variance to become a mixed-use building, Brownstoner reported.

Previous plans had condominiums rising on the site, according to Brownstoner’s previous reporting. The Streeteasy.com entry for the six-story building says that the rental apartment will come online by January 2013. [Brownstoner] — Guelda Voien
