“Amityville Horror” house hits the market — just in time for Halloween

In a timely fashion (just before Halloween), the house from 1979 horror film “The Amityville Horror,” set in Amityville, Long Island, is back on the market, CNN reported. The asking price is a mere $955,000. The 10-room, colonial-style building was first put on the market last year for $1.45 million, then dropped to $1.35 million, CNN said. The home is actually in Toms River, New Jersey.Odalys and Jose Fragoso bought the home in 2011, for $795,000, and insisted to the paper that the home is “not haunted,” and they are selling it because they are getting divorced.
