To celebrate the launch of our South Florida print edition market report, The Real Deal threw a glitzy Miami bash that drew some 600 members of the city’s real estate elite. The event, which took place on Nov. 15 at the Vizcayne condo tower in downtown Miami, followed a sold out roundtable discussion on the new wave of condominium construction in South Florida.
Fadia Bassi, the director of sales at the Vizcayne, told TRD at the event that “We’re seeing prices that we haven’t seen since 2005.” For more highlights of the event, see video after the jump.
The panel featured speakers including EWM President and CEO Ron Shuffield; Alicia Cervera Lamadrid, managing partner at Cervera Real Estate; Philip Spiegelman, principal at ISG; Beth Butler, president of One Sotheby’s International Realty; and Peter Zalewski, founder of brokerage and consultancy Condo Vultures. — Leigh Kamping-Carder
