Imperial plans Tribeca condo conversion

Imperial Development is proposing to convert Tribeca’s 372 Broadway, which PropertyShark shows is primarily used for storage, into an eight-story condominium property with a glass-walled penthouse set atop, the Tribeca Trib reported. The five-story property extends back to Cortlandt Alley, which is where the developers plan to locate the entrance.

Still, the Landmarks Preservation Commission must first approve the plan before anything at the 19th century building moves forward. The developers told the Trib that they hope to go before Landmarks next Tuesday. If they approve the proposal, the three-story addition will be divided between a 3,200-square-foot duplex and a 2,300-square-foot single-floor apartment.
