Former ‘N Sync crooner Lance Bass has waved his pad at the Chelsea Mercantile “Bye, Bye, Bye.” The Mississippi-born singer has sold his two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment at the building for $2.14 million, a nearly $700,000 profit over what he paid for it, The Real Deal has learned.

Bass, who recently became engaged to boyfriend Michael Turchin, listed the unit for sale with the Corcoran Group’s Robert Browne, Chris Kann and Jennifer Ireland earlier this fall. It had been asking $2.23 million. When contacted by TRD, Browne declined to comment on the sale.

The buyer, whose identity could not be determined, was represented by Alan Berger, also of Corcoran. Berger could not immediately be reached.

The 1,300-square-foot pad, at 252 Seventh Avenue and 24th Street, hit the market in September. Bass purchased it for $1.5 million in 2010, public records show.

Bass is not the first celebrity to have lived at the Chelsea Mercantile. The full-service building is also home to actress Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri, who moved into the property following Holmes’ divorce from A-list actor Tom Cruise.

The building has a fitness room, valet parking, a children’s playroom and a 10,000-square-foot landscaped roof deck, according to StreetEasy.

A spokesperson for Bass was not immediately available for comment on the sale.
