Upper East Side townhouse combo hits market for $13.5M

Combined space totals nearly 9,000, would hold six bedrooms

Douglas Elliman’s Ariel Tavivian, Lenny Sporn and Yair Tavivian have been tapped to market two Upper East Side duplex townhouses, to be offered up as a combination unit for $13.5 million.

The two spaces at 157 East 84th Street total 8,648 square feet, with Townhouse E holding a three-bedroom, 4,300-square-foot space and Town House W a two-bedroom, 4,348-square-foot space.The properties belong to two separate owners, one of who is Campus Candy store chain founder Mark Tamofsky, according to a release from Douglas Elliman. The second owner was not identified.

The pair of properties are recently renovated and include two private outdoor spaces, 14-foot ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace and open kitchens. — Julie Strickland
