Only in the movies can $949,000 get you a Park Slope brownstone complete with a parking garage and a large pool. But Monday, jaws dropped at a wall of listings posted outside a Park Slope brokerage, which seemed to advertise just that.
Turns out, the fake listings were posted for an upcoming movie staring Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway.
“The photo listings in this window are almost real,” read a disclaimer in Brooklyn Properties’ 113 7th Avenue office window. “What you see in this window was created by the art director. Some of it is real and some of it isn’t. To be certain of anything, inquire within.”
Posted for the upcoming film, “the Intern,” the fake listings included a “charming” two-family Park Slope brownstone with a landscaped garden for $1.8 million, and an alcove studio with panoramic views and an eat-in-kitchen in a Brooklyn College co-op for $130,000, according to DNAinfo.
