A leasing team from CBRE Group represented Regus in this deal. A brokerage team from Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented Brookfield.

In the lawsuit, first reported by The Real Deal, Regus claimed that Brookfield denied its tenants access to 200 Vesey Street and implemented “oppressive” security measures. Regus also sued American Express. Regus alleged that Brookfield and American Express didn’t provide Regus’ subtenants the same level of access as other tenants in the building.
