Founder of undergarment company bought unit in 2008 for $12.1M

Sara Blakely, the founder of undergarment maker Spanx, sold her three-bedroom at 15 Central Park West for $30 million, the New York Daily News reported.

Blakely, 43, bought the 3,093-square-foot unit in 2008 for $12.11 million together with husband, rapper-turned-entrepreneur Jesse Itzler.

The Robert A.M. Stern-designed building is the most expensive residential condo in the city, with an average price of $6,288 per square foot, according to CityRealty.
