Southampton estate with 4.5 acres in contract after a year
The home hit the market in 2013 asking $45.5 million
A sprawling Hamptons spread initially listed for $45.5 million has finally sold after sitting on the market for over a year.
The Southampton property recently saw its asking price chopped to $39.9 million. However, the final price is yet unknown, according to Curbed.
The 6700-square-foot house was built in 2003 by Francis Fleetwood and, according to Curbed, is already rather dated. And with the real attraction of the property being its location on 4.5 acres with 500 feet of oceanfront, it might get torn down.
The property also features private frontage on Wickapogue Pond, a six-car garage, pool and sunken tennis court. [Curbed] – Christopher Cameron
