Actor Adrian Grenier — best known for his role as Vincent Chase on HBO comedy series “Entourage” — bought a five-story townhouse at 112 Gates Avenue in Clinton Hill for $2.1 million, according to 6sqft. Grenier bought the home with help from his mother, Karesse Grenier, who is a broker at Brown Harris Stevens.

The property needs some work, according to the website. It includes a parlor floor with high ceilings and ornate plaster moldings. The rental apartments in the building have been renovated in recent years.

Last year, the HBO star scoped out a garage, attached to a 3,200-square-foot carriage house, at 29 Putnam Avenue, also in Clinton Hill. More recently, Grenier and his mother reportedly checked out a three-bedroom co-op in Chelsea as well. [6sqft] — Claire Moses
