A Hamptons real estate agent was slapped with a DWI over the weekend when he apparently lost control of his car, flipping over several times and landing near the eighth hole of East Hampton’s Maidstone Club golf course.

Douglas Elliman agent Kyle Rosko was apparently speeding in a classic Mercedes-Benz on Saturday night, when he hydroplaned off Old Beach Lane and drove onto the golf course, the New York Post reported.

He now faces felony charges since he has a previous DWI conviction and other traffic violations, the Post reported. After the accident, Rosko was flown via medevac to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

Rosko’s attorney, Colin Astarita, called the charges “extremely unfair” and said his client “insists that he was not intoxicated at the time of the accident.”

But East Hampton Village police said Rosko’s Mercedes was “uninspected, uninsured and unregistered,” and had foreign license plates.

Last summer, BlackHouse Development’s Sean Ludwick was arrested and charged with DWI and leaving the scene of an accident for his role in a fatal Sag Harbor wreck that killed Elliman broker Paul Hansen. Following an alleged escape plot, he was remanded to jail ahead of a vehicular homicide trial. [NYP] – E.B. Solomont
