The sale of the Essex House closed Thursday with Dubai Investment Group as the buyer of the 605-room hotel on Central Park South. The Essex also has two restaurants and more than 11,000 square feet of meeting space. The hotel’s residential component was not included in the sale, according to a release from Sonnenblick-Goldman Company, adviser to seller Strategic Hotel Capital.
