The vacancy rate for Brooklyn’s Class A office space was 6.8 percent in the third quarter, reportedly one of the lowest rates in the nation. In the borough’s core commercial district bounded by Tillary Street to the north, Flatbush Avenue to the east, Atlantic Avenue to the south, and Court Street/Cadman Plaza to the west 4.5 million square feet of office space and 900,000 square feet of retail space are either planned or under construction. more [NYT]
