Survey: Gotham world’s 27th priciest city

At least according to one survey, New York is less expensive than it used to be. The Big Apple ranked 27th among the world’s most expensive cities in terms of cost of living, according to a survey released Tuesday by the Economist Group, but was the most expensive among American cities surveyed. New York ranked 23rd in the world when the biannual survey was last taken. The survey ranked the Norwegian capital of Oslo as the world’s priciest city. more [CNN/Money]
