Weld rails against expanding eminent domain

Eminent domain has entered the New York governor’s race. The Republican frontrunner in the race came out strongly this week against the government’s growing power to enforce eminent domain. Bill Weld, a former Massachusetts governor, likened that growing power to “Communist China.” In Kelo v.
