Mayor’s affordable housing plans broken?

Mayor Bloomberg has made building 165,000 units of affordable housing in the city by 2013 one of the cornerstones of his administration. But, according to families who won a lottery to buy a city-subsidized home, the mayor may have to work especially hard to achieve that goal. The families have complained to City Hall and to developers about leaky roofs, cracked foundations, and second-story doors that lead to nowhere. more [Post]
