Coney Island’s world-famous Cyclone rollercoaster could be in for some competition. Developer Thor Equities has proposed building a new state-of-the-art roller coaster on the Coney Island Boardwalk. The unnamed 4,000-foot coaster would be at the cornerstone of a $1.5 billion revitalization plan the company is considering. more [NYDN]
