CT looks to limit eminent domain use

Connecticut’s House of Representatives and Senate overwhelmingly approved a bill that limits the state’s power to use eminent domain. The bill prohibits property from being seized via eminent domain solely to boost local property taxes, but it stops short of banning the use of eminent domain for economic development. Connecticut’s governor is expected to sign the measure into law. more [Sun]
