Apartment REIT Archstone-Smith, which Tishman Speyer and Lehman Brothers purchased last month, has closed on the purchase of the Carmague at 303 East 83rd Street for $169 million. Rents at the 30-story apartment building run between $2,900 for one-bedrooms and $4,800 for two-bedrooms.
