The Metropolitan Transportation Authority is expected to unveil the long-anticipated request for proposals for the development of the far West Side’s Hudson Yards this week. Robert Benfatto, district manager of Community Board 4, which includes the Hudson Yards area, said the MTA has informed him the RFP will be released by the end of June, or sometime this week. Benfatto will attend a meeting on Wednesday where he expects to learn more about the document’s contents, which will guide the bidding process for the largest development site in Manhattan. more By John Celock
