Mayor moves shop to Brooklyn

Mayor Bloomberg and about 85 members of his staff will work out of the Office of Emergency Management in Brooklyn for the next couple of weeks while the mayor’s City Hall office is renovated. The mayor’s temporary headquarters, at 165 Cadman Plaza East, opened last December. The Office of Emergency Management is a 65,000-square-foot building in Downtown Brooklyn that cost $50 million in federal funding to build. more [NYT]
