Colgate-Palmolive considers Jersey

Colgate-Palmolive Co.’s 525,000-square-foot lease at 300 Park Avenue expires in 2010, and the company is considering a move to Jersey City. Colgate-Palmolive is considering renting 200,000 to 300,000 square feet across the Hudson–where Class A rents average in the $30s and $40s per square foot–while maintaining a presence at the Tishman Speyer Properties-owned Park Ave building.
