Rupert Murdoch’s record $44 million that he paid for his 834 Fifth
Avenue triplex in 2005. The buyer is hedge funder Scott Bommer and his
wife, Donya, a former TV anchor. The seller is Georgia Shreve, a poet
and writer. The buyer must combine the 13th-floor apartment and
penthouse unit upstairs.
