Police say the so-called Staten Island “Ninja Burglar” struck for the 19th time last week, taking more than $100,000 worth of jewelry. Sometime between Wednesday and Friday, the burglar struck the home of Dr. Shahabuddin Ahmad, who said his alarm system did not go off. The burglar might have entered through glass sliding doors, his typical method of entry, police said. The black-clad thief earned the “Ninja Burglar” name in September after attacking a homeowner with nunchucks.
