From the May issue: When the economy dips and layoffs rise, it’s not uncommon for workers to want to retool their skills and return to the classroom. But what is happening to education within the real estate sector, which has played a pivotal role in the unraveling of America’s economy? This month, The Real Deal has decided to lift the curtain and take a look at the health of real estate education. It turns out that the scope of programs is as varied as the industry. While much of real estate is in the doldrums, interest in graduate education at the country’s top real estate programs remains strong.
