Homeowners file grievances over property taxes

More homeowners are turning to tax grievance assessors to ease their tax pains. Homeowners are going to great lengths to lower their taxes, including paying hundreds of dollars in appraisal fees, and are even promising to give half of their tax savings to assessors who successfully cut their tax payments. The housing assessment formula is expected to adapt to the down market, lowering property values and taxes next year.
