Bronx becomes tourist destination?

The Bronx Tourism Council and marketing and tourism organization NYC & Company are advertising the Bronx as a tourist spot, distancing the borough from its old reputation of urban decay.  The campaign highlights the Bronx’s 7,000 acres of park land, including the New York Botanical Garden and Bronx Zoo; authentic Italian food on Arthur Avenue, a hip-hop music tour and saltwater swimming at Orchard Beach.
