Atlantic Yards opponents have proposed deeming part of Prospect Heights
an historic district, which would affect the major development’s
design. None of the proposed Atlantic Yards area would be in the
historic district, but it would prevent development out of scale in the neighborhood.
The Landmarks Preservation Commission is holding a meeting tomorrow
about the proposal, and a public hearing is expected in the fall.
