Some Lenox Terrace residents said the Harlem building’s owner, Olnick Organization, has two sets of standards when dealing with rent-stabilized tenants. They say politically connected tenants, like Rep. Charles Rangel, are left alone while other tenants are being threatened with costly legal battles to give up their stabilized homes. Rangel isn’t the only big name living in a rent-stabilized apartment, as The Real Deal reported this week.
