State Senator Tom Duane, Borough President Scott Stringer and City Council
Member Daniel Garodnick are all calling for Tishman Speyer to pay the
legal bills of Stuyvesant Town and Peter Cooper Village tenants that landlord Tishman wrongly accused of breaking rent stabilization rules. Tishman has been accused in the past of being overly aggressive in pursuing the eviction of residents who are not using rent stabilized apartments as their primary residence.
