Residents at a Bronx apartment building, at 806 East 175th Street, are suing the building’s owners, OCG VII LLC, for its allegedly unsafe living conditions. Residents of the 43-unit, five-story walk-up building in East Tremont say the building has collapsing ceilings, vermin infestations, blocked sewage lines, moldy walls and water leaks. The city’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development lists 902 open violations for the building, including 265 Class C violations, which are “immediately hazardous.”
