Five architects have released their designs for a new boulevard and park on
far
redevelopment plan. The project will create four acres of park space
down the middle of a boulevard, from 33rd to 42nd streets, between Tenth and
Eleventh avenues. The winning design will be selected early next month, and
construction of the first phase of the project is expected to be completed in
2013.
