The 85-year-old Yankee Stadium held its last game last night in front of about 55,000 fans, complete with visits from Yankee greats including Yogi Berra, Whitey Ford, and Goose Gossage. Just like the fans, Yankee players were told they were not allowed to take anything from the stadium. Yankees COO Lonn Trost said players could send a list of stadium memorabilia they wanted to buy — like bases and foul poles — which would be the same prices fans would pay. The new $1.3-billion Yankee Stadium will open next year. TRD
