New York & Co. downgraded

An analyst for SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, a corporate and investment banking firm, cut her rating on
retailer New York & Co. Inc. after the company warned investors it would
report losses in the third quarter due to recently slowing sales.
New York & Co. said it expects a loss of between eight and 12 cents per
share for the period, rather than the eight to 12 cent earning it had predicted earlier.
