Community Board Six approved the Toll Brothers’ request for
a rezoning of the site along the Gowanus
Canal, between Carroll
and Second streets. These blocks would be rezoned before the neighborhood’s rezoning, which is being reviewed by City Planning, allowing Toll Brothers to build a
mixed-use development between four and 12 stories high, along with a
parking lot.
