New York City Economic Development Corporation just struck another deal
with a Willets Point landowner. Feinstein Iron Works, which owns a
36,000-square-foot lot, agreed to sell its land to the city, bringing
to 25 percent the amount of private land the city controls at the
62-acre Queens site. The City Council is expected to vote on rezoning
the area by Thursday.
