City Point moves forward with commercial space

A 16-story, 900,000-square-foot commercial building application was filed with the Department of Buildings this week as part of the City Point mixed-use development plan in Downtown Brooklyn. The Class A office tower plans to be the first Gold LEED-certified office building in the borough. City Point is being built on the former Albee Square garage site, across the street from the soon-to-be-constructed Willoughby Square Park. The development will also include retail and residential components.
