Confession in Stein case ruled admissible

April 28, 2009 10:29AM

A judge has ruled that a confession from Natavia Lowery, personal assistant to murdered broker to the stars Linda Stein, is admissible. Defense lawyers argued that the confession was taken illegally because she was questioned without a lawyer present. Lowery pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder. Stein, a Prudential Douglas Elliman broker, was killed in her apartment at 965 Fifth Avenue on October 30, 2007.
