Openings and closings: Old Navy renews lease for Chelsea location, Frederick’s Downtown closed

Old Navy has renewed a lease for its 64,000-square-foot store at 610 Sixth Avenue on the corner of 18th Street in Chelsea, according to a press release. Bar Q at 310 Bleecker Street between Grove and Barrow streets will reopen as a seafood restaurant this fall. Popular Brooklyn gourmet hot dog spot Asia Dog will begin serving inside the Lower East Side banh mi restaurant An Choi at 85 Orchard Street at the corner of Broome Street. It will begin its trial run by serving dogs every Monday this month.

Brooklyn will also get a new sausage spot, Bark hot dog restaurant, on Bergen Street between Fifth and Flatbush avenues, which plans to open in about a week.

La Grolla Ristorante on Amsterdam Avenue between 79th and 80th streets will close at month’s end after a 10-year run. David Burke Townhouse restaurant at 133 East 61st Street between Park and Lexington avenues has closed today for renovations. Greenwich Village boutique Untitled is reportedly closing its doors at 26 West 8th Street at the corner of MacDougal Street and plans to move to a yet-to-be-decided new home. Frederick’s Downtown at 637 Hudson Street on the corner of Horatio Street has closed. TRD
